Cheese Scones
Ingredients
8oz Flour
2oz Butter
¼ Pint Milk
½oz Baking Powder
Pinch Salt
Parmesan
Method
Sieve Flour, Baking Powder, Salt and Parmesan
Rub in the butter
Add the milk and mix lightly with a knife
Gently bring together into a ball and roll out to about 1” thickness
Cut out into 8 pieces, egg wash and sprinkle on a little more Parmesan
Bake for 15-20 minutes in a moderate oven 180 ̊C, 350 ̊F
